Ranch Water with Cabo

We were making some Taco Smash Burgers and well, let’s keep it real and have some Tequila while we are at it!

Ok, honestly, Sis has not been doing good with Tequila. Imagine this: it gives her a headache.

Huh.

Well, we already discussed this and agreed that I should NOT deprive myself of my margarita cravings. Too funny.

So, yeah. This is something I got hooked on back in Florida, when we lived in the tiny condo and great for a poolside drink!

Cool, refreshing and NOT sweet at all. So you should really give this a shot!

It’s hard to find the Topo Chico Twist of Lime up here in NW Indiana, so when I drive to Florida, I would pick up a few 4 packs at Publix … BUT then a few weeks ago, we saw them at Costco! I knew I should have picked them up but didn’t. Might have to make a quick trip that way this week!

One last thing: always take a better quality of booze.

Yes, Cabo Wabo is acceptable!

Ok, let’s make a yummy cocktail!

3 ounces of good quality tequila
1 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice (aka roughly a full shot)
Chilled Topo Chico Squeeze Lime Mineral Water

No shaky shaky here as you will make a mess.

Fill high ball or other tall glass with ice, add all ingredients to top off.

Garnish with your lime and serve up!

Yes, you can rim with salt or Tajin if you prefer. I’ve done both and they are equally delicious! I just choose to lay off the salt today so I had a naked rim which is still pretty tasty!

Because I’m kind of a snob when it comes to cocktails, I always box my drinks if they have fizzy stuff (aka carbonated). Simply pour back and forth a few times, say 3 to 4 times between two glasses to meld it all together.
